Le Maschou is located in the heart of Le Suquet, the birthplace of Cannes. Situated on Mont-Chevalier—Cannes’ oldest district—Le Suquet offers a breathtaking view of the bay and the hinterland. The hill provides an exceptional vantage point for admiring the bay and the Croisette promenade that runs along it. A blend of Provençal charm and village authenticity, this old district—a relic of the Middle Ages—is steeped in history. Narrow, steep alleyways, a shaded square, and new lighting all contribute to the old town's charm. It is via one of these streets—particularly steep and winding...
Rue Saint-Antoine takes you past the Forville Market—renowned for the quality, freshness, and vast variety of its produce—via a small, uneven street. It is a steep climb, but a spectacular sight awaits you at Notre-Dame de l’Espérance, a majestic church overlooking the Bay of Cannes. The site offers a magnificent panoramic view from the Place de Castre. Many couples stroll through the streets of the city’s oldest district, where the echoes of musical performances linger on summer evenings.
